Meet our Shepherds
From the Shepherds’ Hearts
We welcome each one of you with the love of Jesus Christ to be part of the congregation of Great Commission Church. There is only one church (Body of Christ), one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4-6)
We are part of the global, historical, spiritual, eternal Ecclesia whose Great Shepherd is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Both of us have been called by God to be shepherds of the flock of God and we are under His Authority, Anointing and Leadership. Our Theme is “Prepare to be Prepared”. Everyday is God’s gift for preparation, every opportunity is God’s invitation to prepare ourselves and others, every reminder is to fulfil this calling and we want you to be part of this glorious journey of faith.
We want everyone & anyone to know the following:
- Jesus Christ is the Saviour of all Mankind
- Bible is God’s Authoritative Life Manual
- Jesus is coming very soon
- Judgement is for all mankind, no one will be excused
- Heaven and Hell are real & eternal
- Repent now – regrets are too horrific to imagine
In light of the above truths, we welcome ALL OF YOU to come and worship with us. You don’t need ANY qualifications to come and be part of our family.
- We are not perfect but we have a perfect King, Shepherd and Master
- We will give a listening ear to your pain and tears
- We will pray for you sincerely and confidentially
- We will teach you God’s principles and guidelines
- We value your presence and participation
- We will not be judgemental but certainly & clearly teach you about sin, righteousness and judgement
- We are ALL on the same journey of life, broken, forgiven, healing and hopeful
We welcome you with open arms with this verse in 2 Peter 3:18 – “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever.”
With lots of love, prayers and blessings

Statement of Faith
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures were uniquely given through human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and are the final authority for faith, doctrine, morality, and Christian living.
We believe the Bible is true in all that it affirms and is sufficient for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training believers in righteousness.
We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in deity, power, glory, holiness, and perfection, yet are one in essence.
God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign Ruler of all things. He is holy, loving, just, merciful, omnipotent, omniscient, and worthy of all worship and obedience.
We believe God the Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creation, and the course of human history according to His grace and purposes.
He hears and answers prayer, saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ, and lovingly disciplines and cares for His children.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
We believe:
- He lived a sinless life.
- He perfectly revealed the Father.
- He performed miracles and fulfilled prophecy.
- He died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of humanity.
- He physically rose from the dead on the third day.
- He ascended into heaven and now intercedes for believers.
- He will personally and visibly return in power and glory.
Salvation is found in Christ alone.
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine and actively works in creation, revelation, conviction of sin, regeneration, sanctification, and empowerment for ministry.
The Holy Spirit:
- Indwells every believer at conversion.
- Seals believers unto the day of redemption.
- Produces spiritual fruit and Christlike character.
- Gives spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church.
- Guides believers into truth and holy living.
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, male and female, for fellowship with Him.
Because of Adam’s sin, all humanity inherited a sinful nature and is separated from God. Every person is spiritually lost and unable to save themselves apart from God’s grace.
Every human being possesses dignity and worth because they are made in the image of God.
We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
Salvation includes:
- Regeneration
- Justification
- Adoption
- Sanctification
- Glorification
We believe:
- Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.
- Salvation cannot be earned through works, religious rituals, or human effort.
- Repentance and faith are necessary responses to the Gospel.
- All true believers are eternally secure in Christ.
Good works are the fruit of salvation and evidence of genuine faith.
We believe the universal Church is the Body of Christ composed of all born-again believers from every nation, tribe, people, and language.
We believe the local church exists to:
- Worship God
- Proclaim the Gospel
- Make disciples
- Practice fellowship
- Serve others
- Observe the ordinances
- Advance the Kingdom of God
Christ is the head of the Church.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two sacraments for the Church:
Baptism
Believer’s baptism by immersion is a public testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and symbolizes union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is a memorial proclamation of Christ’s sacrificial death until He returns and is to be observed reverently by believers.
We believe believers are called to live holy and godly lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Christians should:
- Love God and neighbor
- Pursue justice, mercy, and compassion
- Share the Gospel
- Walk in integrity and purity
- Serve faithfully in the Church and society
We believe marriage is a covenant ordained by God between one man and one woman, and that human sexuality is to be expressed within that covenant.
We believe the Church is commissioned by Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations.
Every believer is called to participate in evangelism, discipleship, prayer, compassion ministry, and the advancement of the Gospel locally and globally.
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ.
We believe:
- The dead will be resurrected.
- Christ will judge all people in righteousness.
- Believers will dwell eternally with God in the new heavens and new earth.
- Unbelievers will face eternal separation from God.
We believe all true believers are spiritually united in Christ and should strive for love, humility, holiness, and unity in the truth of the Gospel.
